Advanced Lax Skills Clinic

Raptors Lacrosse are excited to bring you lacrosse skills coaching from collegiate lacrosse players that are former Raptors players and nationally recognized for their skill on the lax field! This is an advanced session and is not recommended for players that are new to the sport. Space is Limited!

COACHES

James Steinke, Midfield/Attack

A Castle Rock native, former Cougars/Raptors Lacrosse player and graduate of Castle View High School. He went on to play lacrosse at Colorado Mesa University where he was recognized as a 2x USA Lacrosse All American, 2x RMAC Midfielder of the year and 3x First team all conference.

Jack Thompson (JT), Goalie

A Castle Rock native, began his lacrosse journey with the Raptors and attended Rock Canyon High School. Recognized as one of Inside Lacrosse’s Top-100 recruits, he went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at the University of Denver. During his collegiate career, he earned accolades as a 2x Big East Conference Second Team selection and was named to the All-Big East Preseason Team in his senior year. Highlighting his career, JT recorded a personal best of 20 saves in a game against Villanova.

Jackson Naylor, Midfield

Local to Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch, growing up playing for the Cougars/Raptors lacrosse. Jackson has played lacrosse for 16+ years at various levels. He played at Rock Canyon High School Varsity team 2016-2019 and a as a Captain his Junior and Senior year. Jackson then went on to play another 4 years at the Division 1 level for Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.

Marcus Trujillo, Defense/LSM

A LSM but close defender at heart, Marcus went to Castle View High School where he was a 2x All American. He played division one lacrosse for 4 years at Hobart and lead the team in caused turnovers 2 times. He played his fifth year at Colorado Mesa University where he was able to take more of a leadership role on the field and celebrated a win the RMAC championship.

Do I have to be on a Raptors Lacrosse team in the Spring to participate?

No, this clinic is open to any boys lacrosse player with any program.

My plans changed and I am no longer able to attend, can I receive a refund?

This registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstance.

My son has never played lacrosse before, can he attend?

This is an advanced skill clinic and is not suitable for new players. We recommend players have at least one season of lacrosse under their belt

What jersey should my son wear?

Any jersey or pinnie is acceptable
